Why does Larry Williams "teach" and not just trade?
Reason #1:
Money.
Lets see.... 87 rooms at his retreat going for $5000 a pop, thats er
.... 1/2mil give or take. But thats not the real reason ...
Reason #2:
The Guru game.
What could be better than having 87 guys, and their wives, all believing
that LW has all their answers. Having that many people hanging on your
every word for their future sucess feeds a HUGE ego.
I think we all know traders tend to have big egos.
Reason #3:
Measure of sucess.
What does it mean to be a sucessfull trader if there is no validation
for you? I know a few guys that trade very sucessfully, and NONE of them
can keep it to themselves. When you are sucessfull you want to tell the
whole world. Why? ... to get the validation of course.
Now Imagine having 87 people paying $5000 a pop to validate you. Thats
waaaay better than the regular "good job" comments from a few looser
traders in your circle.
It amazes me still that anyone tries to convice the world that they have
the secrets of trading. There are no secrets. There are many techniques
and some work for some and others work for others. The only secret is
that you need to find whats right for you - your style.
Unfortunatly for the 87 people that are going to fill those rooms, this
cannot be bought from LW.
