RE: Problem with TS Pro

I questioned Omega on this and they have changed the Power Editor to allow
features not available in TS2k or TS4. I have the specifics if anyone wants
them, but the bottom line is it can do more now. What I don't know.

I checked a few indicators and systems and they had the same answers and
signals but that doesn't mean it really works the same on all indicators and
systems you code up. I would check it carefully to make sure your important
stuff works the same as you are used to. It would be tough to have the new
improved Pro language kill the performance of your system but I guess it
could improve the system also.

Oh dear

Yet another proof for them that says Omega is still supporting ts2k in full?
They are fully capable of translating code from ts2k to ts pro, but not from
ts pro to ts2k. Of course there is no note from them telling us this will be
implemented? Yet, everybody believes they will continue to support ts2k.
Anyone remember what happened with the import function in Superchart when
this happened after creating ts2k? Anyone remember Superchart?

If ts pro becomes a hit this means that one of the good features with
tradestation 2000, beeing part of a huge library of ela-code, is no longer
true unless you invest in ts pro.
