I have copied out my data file (40bonn.dat) (BMI Sat) to a file over 600K
out of my TS 4.0. The program allowed me to do so, but I am now attempting
to paste it back in after deleting my .dat & .idx files. The message says I
do not have enough disk space to paste the file back in. Omega Tech last
nite told me I needed 3x the file size in available disk space... I have
over 5x in available disk space (3+ Gb) & 250Mb RAM.
I have tried various sizes of paging file... from 200 to 1500 Kb. I have
tried the Paging file on another hard drive in the computer. Still get the
message "not enough disk space"
If I had known there was a paste-in limit, I could have copied out the file
in segments (eg., NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, CME, CBOT, etc. ) but wrongly assumed
the program would not allow me to copy out anything I could not past back
in!
any ideas?
Tech support told me last nite I needed to get a larger hard drive!
