Anybody have the ela code for DMI?

I am trying to test the breakout article from S&C pp 10 this month which
uses VIDYA and some kind of variable length DMI (dynamic momentum
index)  to identify breakouts. I have the code for the VIDYA, but not
the dmi.

Any help would be appreciated.
