It's basically just the breakout of a swing high/low, but then you get into
all the potential trend and/or momentum filters you might want to use. Of
course, JR wrote a few books on the subject so the code for a "vanilla" hook
is going to be different from the others. And you decide the size of the
swing high/low etc.
So there are lots of ways to filter it, but the basic code is a simple swing
breakout.
