For some reason my cable input via AMC fell apart around Monday noon, with
bad packets continuing to account for well over 90% of total packets. BMI
responded quickly to my Email description of the problem, suggesting, among
other avenues, trying CSPAN1. I did, and find that reception is better than
AMC at its best. The AMC time change frequently comes through a minute or two
late, while CSPAN1 seems to miss by no more than a few seconds. And over the
past six hours, only 63 bad packets out of 840,000 total.
Hope this tale of my difficulties is of interest to my fellow laggards in
converting to an Internet feed.
