16. more free advice (assuming your ISDN is same as mainland ISDN)

a. get ethernet interfaces for all computers (100mbit where available at a
reasonable price)
b. get a 10/100 8-port hub
c. wire up the computers and the hub and make them play together
d. get a NetGear RT328 ISDN router. Other brands OK too. I have an Ascend
P75 that I could sell you but it's a bear to configure. Better to use
something else.
e. put the RT328 between you ISDN line and your hub
f. configure the RT328 to use NAT (Network Address Translation)
g. now all your computers can access the internet
h. no one computer has to be on to get such access
i. you can test/reboot the RT328 independently from messy Windows machines
j. get rid of most of your telephone lines

If I used some words you didn't understand, run the phrase through
google.com and see what you find.
