A company called Intrust (Which had a large fraud by its management) was
just sold under a court approved sale to a company called Mellennium Trust
Company. I think you can reach them through the phone number of the old
company 1-708-873-5300. For more info on the problems of the old Intrust
Co. go to www.intrust.com.
Also another one is North Star Trust Company. 1-312-559-9761.
I know nothing good or bad about North Star.
I am a customer of Intrust and my funds have been frozen sense 4-14-2000
and I will lose between 6 to 10% of my account because of the fraud.
I my go with the new co. or I may move to North Star when this is all over
(within another 90 days I hope).
I do not know yet.
You should check with your broker, only he/she/they can tell you which
companies they will accept.
