None of this should be surprising. Omega made it clear that they were going
mass market with the WOW product and the OnlineTrading.com deal. WOW
installs now equal 25% of the entire TS installed base. Simple economics
taking over down there.
In time, better products aimed at us rather than the mass market will come
along and we will all move on. Omega will likely do far better financially
with their new product line. But, in the long run, by fracturing the
product base, they lose their iron grip on high end trading platforms.
Omega will go from being mediocre but relevant to just plain mediocre.
