The nature of long term trend following in commodities is such that low
Sharpe ratios are not uncommon. The high Sharpe ratio performers are
generally, but not universally, the shorter term, counter trend players. By
nature, these are they traders that grind out a living five days a week and
rarely take big hits. Henry has had years that are made entirely by one big
trade.
