Short answer: Yes.
The psychological similarities between casino craps and short term
trading are quite remarkable. It is far cheaper to uncover and deal
with the psychological limitations, related to trading, at the tables
than in the markets. Having had some experience trading and some
readings like Mark Douglas's or others about fear stress and anxiety
in trading will go a long ways towards making it "worth it". If
however you have little trading experience to link with what you learn
at the casino war games, or go without doing the preparation he
requests, you will still have a great time but it would be much less
worth it.
