Philip: One program that I use to help detect problems on the internet (and
whose problem it actually is) is called VitalAgentIT. This is a program
developed by Lucent Technologies and is available free, just download it.
VitalAgentIT looks at four places for trouble, your computer, the server you
are accessing (or trying to access), your ISP and the internet as a whole.
I will tell you which of these are causing the problem and then give you
several things that may be wrong. It also has a traceroute feature
