The monitors do not operate independently.
I can't have a 1152x864 desktop and a 800x600 desktop.
The monitors have to have identical resolution and refresh rates.

The software driver and the OS treats both screens together
as one giant desktop. I wind up with a 2304 x 864 desktop.
Sometimes the dialog popup wind up split between
the two screens even with the option to center on one screen.

With NT4 this card was the cheapest solution for dual screens.

With win98 and w2k you can use different cards. The OS
will load both drivers.
