I don't have experience with Qchart so data I'm keying only on the fact that 
you've got it in EXCEL format.  I presume that the data must be intraday 
data.  If not, I would doubt there'd be any way to "strip out" the 
"overnight" component using EXCEL functions.  If it is intraday data then 
there should be a "time" field associated with the data.  If my assumptions 
are true, then you should be able to "filter" your data in EXCEL for "rows" 
for which the "time" field values are in the range for "day sessions" only.  
You can then save this "set" of rows in a new worksheet.  

Hope this helps and that my "ignorance" with respect to Qchart data hasn't 
just confused things for you.
