RE: exit at fixed $-amount

Hi clafis,

If you have TS2K, you can use either Profit Target, or Profit Target LX or
Profit Target SX:
 signals.

The Profit Target signal enables you to set a profit target (in dollars per
contract or per position) at which your position will automatically be
closed out. If that profit level is never reached the stop will not take
affect, therefore, to limit loss use the Profit Target signal together with
an additional exit signal designed to limit losses.

It seems that ProfitTargetStop was the reserved word used for this purpose
in TS4

Phil

Subject: exit at fixed $-amount

Hello there,

IŽd like to exit my position if a fixed $-amount - say $3.500 - as profit
has been achieved.
Can somebody give me a hint how to code this, please?

Thanks in advance,
clafis.
