There are no "good" indicators in my opinion, but there are good
traders. If the only indicator you have for predicting the wind is a
stick thrown into the sea, you'll eventually make the right associations
to predict the wind. Good traders can trade well with lousy indicators
because they observe. Poor traders trade poorly even with 'good'
indicators because they don't. Yes, some indicators are better than
others in a given scenario, or even in general, but the intrinsic worth
of the indicator is cheifly derived from one's ability to observe and
ascertain its behaviour under all conditions, even if it's a rotting
pile of dog crap.
