Fred,

TS 4.0 will not decrease the size of the tick portfolio. If you have been
successful creating an OMZ file using the Copy Out utility then you can do
the following:

1. Backup your tick file (40bonn.dat) for BMI, (40sig.dat) for Signal.
2. Shut down the TS Data Server
3. Delete 40bonn.dat, 40bonn.idx, 40bonn5.dat and 40bonn5.idx in the
\Omega\Server\Btc directory.
4. Start up the Data Server *offline*
5. Paste In your OMZ tick file

If you have not been successful in the Copy Out process - then the only
alternative is to use a utility I wrote called Unfrag which both defragments
the tick file records (not to be confused with disk cluster defragmentation)
and purges unused blocks of data to reduce the size. Either will produce
the same result.

Good Luck!

Bob
