All too often, I ask for help on this list. Time to give a little back if
only in an opinion.
Not being a computer expert (I use computers but have no idea how they
work), I found that all too often, especially running multiple programs, the
computer would suddenly "lock up". The only way to "get back in" was to
re-boot; a pain in the a-- at the very least.
A past post on this or another list mentioned that a similar problem ("using
up" too much RAM) was corrected by MemTurbo.
Right; some more computer-ese snake oil. But the price was low enough for
the shareware to be worth a try.
I did. It's super! The software is deceptively user friendly, can be
automated to run every "n" minutes (your choice), and remains in the
background, always there when its needed.
No, I can't tell you how it works - just that it does. (I'm confident that
some computer "tecky" on this list can explain it.) For my needs, the
benefits far outweigh the low price - A GREAT TRADE!
Only my opinion - with the usual disclaimers - for what its worth.
