You can download a free Perl toolkit (Perl interpreter, online docs,
libraries, etc) from http://www.perl.com. I'd look up the exact URL
for you but www.perl.com doesn't seem to be responding this morning.
You can instead go to the ActiveState download page, at
http://www.activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/index.html. They have
packages for Windows, Linux, and Solaris.
You can also get lots of other stuff, from history and documentation
to books and Perl Monger T-shirts, at http://www.perl.org.
