No, it will not download historical data.
And it's true that eSignal allows you to do it,
products like MetaStock will download historical data.

Can anyone tell me if - TS2Ki - Sp5 working with dbc eSignal will down
load past data of the day or previous data if the internet is not switched
on all the time the market is trading. As I am told that eSignal will let
you down load such data if the GS within TS2Ki allows it.
