Well, to be more precise, a "Stopped" clock is one form of a "Broken Clock"
and is right twice a day (once for a 24-hour clock). But a "Malfunctioning
Clock" (disfunctional? dysfunctional?) is also a Broken Clock, and may be
right (or wrong) an indeterminate number of times per day: suppose it's 1
minute slow/day. Just how often is it "right"? And suppose it's erratic,
and instead of 1 minute lost incrementally over a day, it loses that minute
say, when there's an event, or inaction, or a 50 point move in the market.
Maybe Correlation, Causation, Chaos, and Things that go....eh? :-)

I think an apt analogy for Fleckensein is "a broken clock correlates
with the correct time twice a day." :-)
