Subject: TS malfunctioning with Dynastore light ?
Can anyone tell me what's going on with my TS 4? Everything was fine
while I was using bmi data. I decided to switch over to Qcom w/
Dynastore light. While the data comes in fine on my tick charts many
other problems have surfaced. The 1 minute, 3, 5, whatever minute time
frame charts don't advance to the right of the screen. Many times these
charts hang until you change the time frame which kicks it back into
gear. @ the same time this is happening tick charts work fine.
Indicators aren't working properly either. My bollinger bands will stop
plotting or plot very erratically until I change the time frame . The
times on both computers are screwy all day. They are right sometimes,
ahead, or behind. They fluctuate throughout the day. This may be a Ts
problem, I don't know. It all started after hooking up dynastore.
Also, can someone tell me what closing price you should use to
calculate pivots for the S&P? The cme website will have a last trade
and a settlement which often differs. Then TS will often have a closing
price on the chart which differs from the close @ the top of the
screen. Finally, qcharts had a close today of 1423 on the chart while
TS had a close of 22.50 on the chart & @ the top of the screen
(matching). The cme had a last of 22.80 and a settlement of 23.20.
That's 4 different prices!
I believe my pivots were calculated wrong today. Did anyone have a
pivot of 1424.83? When I calculate it by hand I get 1426.43.
