Indicator help needed

Greetings,

This may be a dumb question, but...

If you have 3rd party indicators and paintbars that simply produce a 
colour-coded mark on the screen (i.e. red/yellow/green bar or plot a line 
that changes colour depending on trend) can you incorporate this somehow 
into a system ?

Something like:

If IndicatorX=green then buy...

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
