Living in a rather remote location internet - wise, and considering all
the problems with my current data provider (BMI Satellite) it looks like
my best data alternative is DTN Satellite.
I have heard from some that when the global server or satellite feed
goes down through the trading day that it can take up to three hours for
the server / satellite to reconfigure itself into a useable state.
Has anyone had this problem using the DTN Satellite feed?
Anybody have a better idea for a reliable, fast data feed?
Have tried pcquote internet feed. Their service is very good but when my
isp slows down I can be 30 - 40 seconds behind the market. Do not have
an alternate isp choice with a local access phone number; no cable
access either. Have considered Direct PC but it gets fairly pricey
compared to DTN.
