Morning, Omega users!
Ok, we have a new wrinkle in the magic disappearing data utilities. A
friend emailed me SPX and NDX data and all of my TS 4.0 programs were
able to read the data and import the data. After importing the data, the
data is there and works fine.
Now the fun! I copied out a data file containing NDX and SPX data to an
omz file on my server machine, and my other two machines running TS will
open the omz file but cannot 'see' the data. The decompression utility
does show the correct dates for the data, but no symbols are available
to import.
Just out of curiousity, I tried to import the data file back to the same
machine the copied the data out. And much to my surprise, that machine
also cannot 'see' the symbols in the data file. So the question is: Is
it a database problem, meaning corrupt data, or a problem with the TS
program?
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
