ZA/Sygate followup

I rebooted last night and the ZoneAlarm and Sygate combo is a big
winner! The trick is definitely closing the Sygate Manager. You don't
need it open for Sygate to work. With it open (Sygate icon in the System
Tray,) the ZoneAlarm blinker in the System Tray was constantly flashing
and the CPU usage was spiking up to 100%. With it closed, the blinker is
quiet and the CPU load is almost nonexistant. I ran all night with
Netscape open on the server machine collecting mail and Quote.com open
on a client machine collecting e-mini quotes. CPU time for the server
machine - P3-450, 320MB, NT4 SP6....

idle processes	8:38:14
system 0:00:26
netscape.exe	0:00:16
explorer.exe	0:00:03
services.exe	0:00:01
sgserv.exe	0:00:01	(sygate)
vsmon.exe	0:00:00	(zone alarm)
zonealarm.exe	0:00:00 (zone alarm)
other 0:00:00 (28 other processes)

One note, I have the HP extensions to NT that give me a low power mode,
plug and play, USB, etc. It was running in low power mode, with the CPU
slowed, the screen dark and the hard drive stopped, most of the night.

Bottom line, I'm a VERY happy camper.
