performance - fastest server i have ever seen as i have uesd
almost all publicly available data servers ...
you can choose to collect what type of symbols.
you can limit the # of days to store data.
you can choose to store bid ask :)
if you've got a fast pc with huge hardrive (20G+ space), then full data
collection
is perfectly ok as it won't even take 10% cpu time, unlike the
TS server(s).
the only complain and still the only complain is that there is/was
no generic software usable. now, there are tradewarex, optionsimulator/rt,
option pro online, optionvue, etc.
to those thinking of windows on wallstreet daytrader for umds, I am
a user of that too and is very concern if they will cut it off their
product line, anyone got an official response from the company about this?
