good points andrew....here's a couple more...my ts4 puters are NOT running
any other processes during the trading day, like, ts4 system optimizations
or net surfing....they both lose ticks regardless of the amount of ram you
have. the puters are dedicated solely to collecting bmi data; i have other
puters for the i-net stuff.

also, i've never gotten better than a 0.4 sq and 3.6agc for bmi sat reception
for a unobstructed southern exposure. i use a digital signal tuner to align
the dish, available for about $50 on the i-net, or ya can borrow one from
a dtv installer if yer a directv suber (bmi and dtv are ku band transmissions).
i got one to align an intersat dish for los reception on sat, cuz the tuning
was tricky and difficult to attain unless yer were very patient. i also
use lightining arrestor quality rg6 cabling (one nearby lightining strike
and you're fried :)) and ground block all cable entries into the house via
the central ground.
