RE: Sad days for data for TS4 traders

Guys, there is a lot of us use DTN Sat where the IO port speed is an issue.
TurboExpress card will handle speeds up to 460kb and it comes with its own
driver. This driver is able to multiply settings in Omega to 4 times so your
115kb becomes 460kb.

Hope this helps.

Attila

Ian,

The problem is that TS4 Omega Server will not operate the com port
faster than 19200 bits/sec when talking to a Signal Sat receiver (which
DS emulates). That's 1920 chars/sec or about 20-24 ticks per second.
Short of hacking the Omega Server, there isn't anything we can do about
it.

Ron,

Is there any way to improve on this situation, hi-speed port etc.?
I notice you have new products coming on your site. Will
these help with TS4?

Ian.

Only about 20-24 ticks per second can be handled in that environment.
