Build 27 stable on w98 2nd edition???

I've been out of commission since 12/20 and just finished reading the
posts thru 1/8 upon which date I seem to have been bounced off the list.
  Pardon my ignorance on the posts since then but is anyone running
a stable Build27 under w98 with BMI data?
  I want to upgrade from Build23 before going online. From what I'm reading,
it seems Build23 won't work with BMI data at all.
  Do I need to rename DSP0H to DSP00H in my already collected data
before installing the patch?
