Expensive books: Reality or Fiction

Does anybody has experience with expensive books over $100 like:
a) "Trading with DiNapoli levels" by Joe DiNapoli ($ 162)
b) "Trading for Tigers" by Walt Downs ($ 139)
c) "Streets Smarts" by Connors and Raschke ($ 175)

I believe that if you have discovered a money machine, it would be difficult
to share at so low price, except that you are a charismatic person.
Then, what is the secret?
The book hardcover material? or "buy cheap and sell expensive" slogan?
or some obscure system that you need to pay an addittional fee to receive a
part (no complete) of it.
It probably sounds ironical but i need save money, or avoid some fraud.
any help or discussion is welcome.
