BMI sends the official exchange trade time along with each tick, which is
why my BMI chart will look like yours, even if my clock or theirs is
incorrect. Comparing the time that your 1 minute chart rolls over, to the
actual time on your pc (atomic adjusted) will give you the exact delay of
the feed. I always check the delay just before I trade. I've been caught
that way before, and it won't happen again!
I wrote to BMI and complained last Tuesday when my data was about 2 minutes
behind (having confirmed it with another trader who was on cable), and the
official response from BMI was that "Anyone who uses ANY broadcast quote
service,
including BMI, for daytrading is doing themselves a disservice."
Now you know.
