Get a second hard drive for a couple of hundred bucks and then use a program
like "Drive Image" from www.powerquest.com

It creates a mirror image of your 1 st drive on the second drive ... takes
like 10 minutes or so ... then if the first drive crashes ... just do a
restore of the image .. takes maybe 15 minutes and your back up and running
with an identical setup to when you last did the image (do it daily) ...

Chances of 2 drives failing @ the same time are almost impossible .... it's
fast and easy and it's cheap ...

Only drawback ... if some one steals your computer or there is a fire there
isn't any off site data storage ....

I run a small LAN and have one large drive to store all the image files from
my various computers ... works great !!

My 2 cents worth !!!

best regards

Richard
