Summary
TradeStation 2000i contains more features for charting, trading system
testing and real-time market monitoring than any other product we have
seen. The user interface is well thought out and easy to use. Useful
additions would be automated walk-forward testing, a more powerful
EasyLanguage debugging capability and integrated support for non-Omega
data vendors.
The most serious problem is reliability - a premium feature for the
hard core systematic analysts and day-traders likely to buy
TradeStation. Omega historically has released new versions before they
have been debugged complete.
