My own experience:
- Charts load faster
- My single data stream charts work with multiple indicators, much as they
did with SP2, SP3. No noted problems.
- I've tried in vain to set up new multi-data stream charts (nothing fancy,
just ES and NQ with tick, trin and a-d lines) -- I am not able to get the
job wholly done without crashing TS2K SP4. I suspect I can probably get the
job done if I very carefully add the streams and indicators and don't muck
about at all with anything fancy. Perhaps prayer to the Y2K gods is
required?)
I'm simply amazed that this problem still exists. Have any of you managed to
make this work?
I've heard anecdotal evidence that a clean install of SP2 (rather than an
install of TS2K upgraded) provides a more stable base. If anyone has a
recipie for installing the various versions to end up with a stable version,
please let me know! I'm tempted to uninstall the whole lot and clean the
registry and then install SP2 and SP3. Any thoughts?
