Jimmy,

You might have solved a major puzzle for me! My daughter has a problem with
her computer, which she needs for her accounting business. Last spring she
brought down (from Minnesota to Colorado) her Acer 486 computer that ran as
slow as a snail. I built a new box with a P133 motherboard and 6.4 Gig and
64 Meg. It ran great and she went home happy. This summer she drove from
MN to CO with this same system that was dead. I ended up reinstalling Win
95, but it acted slower than I remember. She called recently and complained
it was slowed down to a snails pace. In fact her most favorite game program
pinball for Win 95 wasn't even working.

Let's suppose that pinball has a bug that causes a stack or memory or disk
cache problem that doesn't get resolved when the program is terminated? Her
addiction to pinball might be the culprit.

Thanks for the idea .... Marlowe
