Netscape is not a piece of crap. However, it has become, over the past 6
months or so, the Beta (as in Beta vs VHS) of the browser world. The
browser war is over. More and more websites and browser based services no
longer support Netscape. That is only going to accelerate going
forward. Developers have absolutely no incentive to support Netscape
anymore. Everyone has a choice here. Switch to IE or put up with the
problems inherent in using yesterday's web technology. In less than a
year, Netscape will be about as useful as the original Mosaic browser or
MS-DOS and only a few die hard LINUX nuts will be using it. (How's that
for a flame troll :) -uf
