EOD Vendors- ASCII, whatever?

How does this frigging ASCII work ?  It seems that you must manually
enter or select EACH stock's name and exchange EVERY TIME you select
that symbol or try to add it to a Custom Data List.  Is this true?


Are there any EOD vendors that produce a "clean" download, i.e.,
you download the data, TS reads the files, and KNOWS WHAT IS THERE
without manual intervention on each symbol?

TC2000 is this way, but it appears that TC2000 may not work next year.

Need some help to either set up ASCII or get another vendor.
