My company Enterprise Engineering is looking for someone with a strong
background in developing equity trading systems. Enterprise Engineering
is looking for a Senior Equities Application/Project lead types Project
is a DTC (Depository Trust Company) Integration with a major Brokerage's
QA Department. There is an immediate request to route Trade File baskets
from the UNIX environment to the DTC. The key phrase that EEI is
looking for is Program Trading, Systems Integration, DTC Order matching,
Confirmation matching and Broker communications such as FIX and SWIFT.
This person must have Equities experience, preferably on the settlement
side. Domestic Equity processing is a must and International Equity
Processing is a definite advantage. Need experience with Unix/NT Perl
and either Visual Basic and / or Powerbuilder, Sybase and/or Oracle.
Two banks equities groups have merged. They are currently bringing all
there clients over from one of the banks. Problem is that they have zero
systems in place and all they are utilizing is certain accounting
systems. I am looking for application experts (Trading systems/Hedge
funds/Buy side specialists/Program trading) that have a strong technical
background with experience in Unix and Client Server tools such as
VB/OrAcle/Powerbuilder/Sybase....Programming is the secondary job at
this point ,but the manager wants to know that the people that he brings
in have the ability to roll sleeves up and code if necessary. At the
moment they are ground floor and need visionary type consultants that
