I believe a fundamental change was made to SP3......one that significantly
affects the way TS does calculations and manages memory.
Bottomline: the slowdown is probably "permanent" !
What can be done ?
1) buy another machine with 500 Mhz processor or better
2) review your indicators and rewrite most of the underlying TS
functions......especially those called multiple times. Take advantage of the
"pass-by-reference" capability that is now supposed to be functional for
time-series functions and indicators.
3) convert "slow" functions to "C" subroutines.
