While that detail is good to know, what's important is to
figure out how
to calculate the effective volume. I heard about this issue
over
news a year ago when they talk about rectifying the NASDAQ
volume calculation, "15% of the trades are principle trades
..."
so I figure that a good estimate maybe NASDAQVol * 85% for
it to be comparable to that of NYSE instead of dividing it
by two?
