No - not certain yet, but most net-centric stuff has little software on
the local machine. If they just send data, then they are merely another
data vendor (and will try to make you use only their data). Given 
Histbank, this is cause for worry.

This could get out of hand :-). Overall, though, it is unlikely many folks
will be doing large optimizations all the time, and it might not be that
large an average load. If it is, they might impose limits or extra
charges, just as some ISP's do.

One way or the other, I bet they do this - much more $$ than selling TS.
