Another bit of trivia regarding tick charts- Omega resets the tick count
everyday. For example, at the end of Friday's day session using 10 tick
bars for DSP Z9, I showed upticks of 9 ,downticks of 0 = 9 ticks on the
last bar.
Today's first bar started over with 10 ticks/bar. So, if your system or
indicator needs the number of ticks/bar to remain constant you'll have to
reinitialize each day and skip the last bar. (or create a continuous
synthetic data stream of tick
bars)
