Be aware that the dongle must be on LPT1 and that some printers also must be
on LPT1. I ran into this problem with a Canon Multipass.

cant tell whether its a MUST BE SLOW that way - but get a 2nd LPT card for
few buxxx and all your problems are gone :-)
