Sending messages to Pager from custom software

I've got a DLL that interfaces to TS2000i and I'm looking for a means of
sending alert messages to a pager.  I realize there is a means of sending
pages from within TS, but I'd prefer to avoid that as I intend to move away
from TS asap.

I realize that many pagers have email interfaces or web interfaces, but I'd
hope someone has a DLL interface which either dials up via a modem or makes
a connecetion over the modem.

I'm developing in MS VC++.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to look for information?
