There is an old quote that might apply here:

"Those who talk don't know, and those who know don't talk."

The subset could be: "Those who know and do talk are probably lying." Or at 
least doing it for a reason.

Did Ballmer study law at Harvard?

Also, it isn't important that you know where the market is going so much as 
you know how YOU are going to handle it whichever way it does go.
