Hey, Jack! Take a valium! I'm not trying to insult you, just looking
out for #1!
Like you say on your website, I don't know Jack! We're all strangers on
the net.
While the sample tips I've seen from you do make a lot of sense, a lot of
your promotional material looks a lot like the megatons of spam floating
around on the net.
What I'm hoping to gain is a flood of email from widely dispersed (by
geography and ISP) email addresses from happy customers extolling the
virtue of your system. I don't have an opinion one way or the other as
to whether or not you are another Wade Cook, but I do know that it is, in
general, a good idea to try to get independent confirmation of claims such
as yours. $US 877 may seem like chump change to you, pal, but it's real
money to me.
The specific questions I asked you were in response to the free (actually
$8.50 or so in long distance charges, but what the hay... ) teleconference
where you invited questions from the audience. The content of the
teleconference was extremely impressive. You certainly sound legit, but a
scamster would also sound legit.
I'm certainly not expecting anyone to guarantee that buying your membership
will lead to trading success. All I'm looking for is independent
corroboration that it is not a scam. While I appreciate the offer of a 6
months refund period, and the $150 discount if I turn in one of my less
successful self-education aids, I strongly suspect it would be a
non-trivial effort to get my money back if you should turn out to be a
scamster.
As for phone vs email communication, I much prefer email conversations for
matters that are not time sensitive. Email can be dealt with at each end
on the recipient's schedule and is the ultimate, IMHO, in non-intrusive
communication. I can type almost as fast as I can talk, and I can read a
hell of a lot faster than I can hear spoken words. I've heard your voice
in your realaudio clips on your web site and in yesterday's
teleconference. You sound sincere, but so would an accomplished con
man. I'm not saying you are a con man, I'm just painfully aware that the
person one suspects of possibly being a con man is not necessarily the most
reliable person from whom to get this information.
If I offered to sell you a car or a $900 computer by email or by phone,
would you buy it without checking to see if I was legit? Somehow, I doubt it.
Regards,
Ullrich
