Maximum Bars on an Intraday System

I have a simple system that I am writing to use on an intraday 5 minute S&P
chart.  One problem is that OpenD and LowD are not giving the correct values
(based on viewing them in the print window).

One question is what should I set "Maximum number of bars to reference in
system" to.  The system only references back one day, and since there are 81
5-minute bars for the S&P in one day, should this setting be 81?
