Re:TS 2000 History Bank: useless for 1 minute data

In order to save Disk Space just let HistoryBank down load Tick Data and then
the server will build the One Minute Bars, Then set you history to save settings
for those symbols that you do not want to store mass amounts of Tick Data For to
One Day, Default is 15 Days. When the server runs maintenance it will delete all
tick data older than one day. I am not sure using HistoryBank but you may not
even need to save one day and the GlobalServer will build the Min Bars and then
when running maintenance delete the tick data.

You could try it with a symbol or two.

TS 2000 has a nice new feature where you can maintain one minute data for
symbols in your Portfolio. Because of the large number of ticks
transmitted for big-cap stocks, and the resulting disk space requirements,
I took advantage of this new feature to maintain one minute data and daily
data for stocks.

However according to Omega's Knowledge Base, HistoryBank.com doesn't have
one minute data and I have no way of updating the one minute data for those
symbols in my Portfolio from HistoryBank.com. HistoryBank.com supports
Daily data and Tick data, but not 1-minute data.

It would seem it would be easy enough for Omega to construct one minute data
from the Tick Data in History Bank, but History Bank doesn't have this
functionality. This seems a serious design flaw, which it seems only
Omega could have missed.
