Re: quote.com into TS4.0?

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

Hans I do not argee with you.
I used to run DBC connected directly to TS4 and also tested DBC using data
manager and Communicator. I got the same number of ticks and could also
receive volume on ticks for markets that put the info out ie DAX & FTSE.
This is not possible when directly connecting to TS4.
The links from the other feeds depend if you use a DLL or a DDE link.
The problem with the DDE link is that all the information is supplied at
field level. The program has to decide if a new tick has to be written.
DBC is light on ticks for the DAX &FTSE no matter what the connection is.
I can now only compare the ticks between Tenfore and Market Eye that I have.
I have Tenfore feeding both TS4 and TS2000, with the tick counts the same in
both.
Tenfore appears to be the best feed at present for the Eurex market.
CQG from my comparisons is the best supplier in Europe for the USA markets
with DBC slightly ahead of Tenfore but not by much.
